Head Teller

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Head Teller to join our growing team. The Head Teller plays a key leadership role within the branch by supporting daily teller operations, assisting customers with financial transactions, and ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will have strong banking knowledge, cash handling experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This position serves as a resource for Teller I and Teller II staff while helping maintain efficient branch operations. Responsibilities Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, cashier's checks, money orders, and currency orders Open consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, and safe deposit boxes Provide professional, friendly, and confidential customer service in person and over the phone Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records Promote and educate customers on bank products and services that fit their financial needs Assist the Branch Manager or Teller Supervisor with daily operational tasks Serve as the primary support resource for Teller I and Teller II questions and concerns Monitor account openings and review pending items regularly Help enforce bank policies, procedures, and compliance standards Maintain customer confidentiality and security standards Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of banking experience required Minimum of 2 years of cash handling experience required Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of deposit products and banking services High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay:

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
