Job Description

  • Primary duties are responsible for the supervision, coaching, instruction, and recruiting for the women's flag football team.
  • Plan practices and develop a competitive sports program in conjunction with the philosophy of Neumann University.
  • Willing and able to conduct the duties as a member of the Neumann University athletics staff in full conformity with all NCAA and conference regulations.
  • Responsible for knowledge of all conference and association regulations.
  • Attend university and Department of Athletics and Recreation functions.
  • As a visible ambassador of the University collaborate with the Institutional Advancement Office in the role of women's flag football ambassador to fundraise for the athletics and recreation department.
  • Ensures that the conduct of the team members and staff reflects the desired image of Neumann University.
  • Recruit quality student-athletes to Neumann University in accordance with University and NCAA policies.
  • Attend all games and practices and ensure the safety of the student/athletes.
  • This position has a seasonal stipend and does not carry fulltime status or benefits.
Bachelor's Degree Minimum of two years of experience in the field. A clear NCAA disciplinary record. Ability to work with students. Knowledge and experience in sport. Excellent communication skills. Candidates must possess an appreciation for, congruence with, and commitment to the Franciscan mission of the University that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
