Job Description

Randolph-Macon College, a member of NCAA Division III and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Head Women's Lacrosse Coach. This is a full-time 12-month position and will have responsibilities for organizing and administering all aspects of the Lacrosse program.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties involve establishing game plans, evaluating player and staff needs, designing and implementing practice schedules and conditioning programs, and supervising the work of assistant coaches Providing hands-on instruction to athletes and motivating them to perform to their full potential; making game decisions and constructing a competitive schedule Recruiting players and staff, conducting post-game evaluations, monitoring academic progress and eligibility Coordinating travel arrangements and monitoring budget expenditures Developing strategies and working with Athletic Development staff on team related fundraising and promoting good public relations through various college organizations and activities Position involves substantial travel during recruiting periods Performs other duties as assigned by the
Athletic Director Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Head coaching experience or significant assistant coaching experience at the collegiate level Understanding of the Division III philosophy of athletics and commitment to academics are essential Valid driver's license with satisfactory motor vehicle record by insurance standards
