The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through the practice of acupuncture and other complementary therapies. This role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to assess patient needs effectively. The Acupuncturist will work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at pain management and overall wellness. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine treatment needs and goals. Perform acupuncture treatments using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately identify trigger points and areas of concern. Provide physical examinations as part of the initial assessment process. Develop personalized treatment plans that may include acupuncture, trigger point therapy, and other modalities. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes. Educate patients on self-care techniques and lifestyle modifications to enhance their healing process. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification in acupuncture as required by state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques. Experience in patient care with a focus on holistic health practices. Proficiency in performing physical examinations and patient assessments. CPR Certification is preferred or must be obtained within a specified timeframe after hiring. Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on patient service and support. Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player in a collaborative environment.
