Licensed Acupuncturist Needed to Join our Team at Calm

We are seeking a motivated, skilled acupuncturist who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working independently, and is excited to grow alongside a supportive and established practice. Position Overview This position will begin as an Independent Contractor role for an initial 3-month trial period . At the conclusion of the contractor period, both parties will have the opportunity to determine whether transitioning to an employee position is the right fit. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, enjoys building patient relationships, and is comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment. Schedule Wednesday - Saturday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Our practitioners typically build toward seeing 9-10 patients per shift , though each provider is encouraged to work at a pace that allows them to deliver excellent patient care while developing efficiency over time. Responsibilities Provide high-quality acupuncture treatments and patient care Develop treatment plans and maintain accurate chart notes Educate patients on wellness and treatment recommendations Manage treatment rooms and maintain a clean, professional environment Check patients in and out as needed Collect payments and assist with light front desk responsibilities Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating positively with the clinic team Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach Requirements Current California Acupuncture License in good standing Willingness to credential and participate with major insurance networks, including American Specialty Health (ASH) Strong clinical skills and excellent bedside manner Ability to work independently and manage a busy treatment schedule Reliable, organized, and self-motivated Positive attitude and strong communication skills Weekend availability (Saturday required) Ideal Experience Experience treating: Pain management and orthopedic conditions Stress, anxiety, and nervous system regulation Women's health and hormone balance Headaches and migraines Practitioners with additional specialties are encouraged to apply and bring their unique strengths to our clinic.
