Job Description
About Truspine Truspine is a fast-growing, integrative health clinic in San Francisco with two locations, offering chiropractic care, acupuncture, dry needling, shockwave therapy, Class IV laser, and more. Our team is collaborative, patient-centered, and committed to delivering real results for patients dealing with musculoskeletal pain, injury recovery, and chronic conditions. We're looking for a licensed acupuncturist who brings clinical depth, a strong orthopedic mindset, and hands-on dry needling experience to complement our multidisciplinary team. Job Summary We are hiring a licensed Acupuncturist with demonstrated experience in dry needling and orthopedic or musculoskeletal conditions. This is a clinical role — you'll be working alongside chiropractors, massage therapists, and other providers to deliver integrated, evidence-informed care. The ideal candidate is confident with structural assessments, comfortable treating acute injuries and chronic pain, and skilled at developing individualized treatment plans that get results. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal and orthopedic assessments to guide treatment planning Administer acupuncture and dry needling treatments with precision and adherence to aseptic technique Develop individualized treatment protocols for patients with acute injuries, chronic pain, and post-surgical recovery Collaborate with chiropractors, massage therapists, and other providers to deliver coordinated, integrative care Educate patients on treatment rationale, expected outcomes, and self-care strategies Accurately document SOAP notes, treatment progress, and patient history in the EHR system Contribute to a clean, professional, and welcoming clinical environment Required Qualifications Active California Acupuncture License (L.Ac.) — required Dry needling certification and documented clinical experience — preferred Experience treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions (sports injuries, back/neck pain, shoulder, hip, knee, etc.) — preferred Strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and functional movement assessment Experience with SOAP note documentation; familiarity with EHR platforms Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team Excellent patient communication and education skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in a chiropractic, physical therapy, sports medicine, or integrative medicine setting Familiarity with adjunct modalities (cupping, gua sha, e-stim, moxibustion) Bilingual a plus Why Join Truspine?
