Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments aimed at promoting healing, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall well-being for our diverse patient population. Your expertise will help deliver personalized care that addresses acute and chronic conditions, supporting patients on their journey to better health. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing sterile techniques and precise needle placement to target specific pain points and promote healing Manage acute pain conditions effectively through specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy and other evidence-based modalities Educate patients on their condition, treatment options, and self-care practices to empower ongoing health management Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies Ensure a safe treatment environment by adhering to aseptic techniques, infection control protocols, and maintaining equipment hygiene Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment strategies for complex cases involving physiology and anatomy considerations Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Certified Acupuncturist or Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) with active registration CPR Certification and BLS Certification demonstrating commitment to patient safety and emergency preparedness Proven experience in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and general patient care within an outpatient setting Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physical examination techniques relevant to acupuncture practice Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly Familiarity with aseptic techniques to ensure safe needle insertion and infection prevention protocols Ability to communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures clearly while demonstrating professionalism and compassion Join us in delivering exceptional holistic healthcare that transforms lives!
