About us:
We are a very busy acupuncture and holistic wellness care center looking for a very special employee to join our team long-term. Our office is located just north of North Star Mall. The main practitioner is a Doctor of Acupuncture, and she has been in a successful and thriving practice for over 15 years. The type of person we are looking for: You must be a positive, upbeat, reliable, punctual, diligent, and genuine people-person who enjoys making people smile and feel comfortable in the office.
Other necessary skills are:
good computer and typing abilities, comfortable answering busy phones with a pleasant speaking voice , multitasking, and detail-oriented. See the "office duties" below for more details. We are looking for people who truly want to be a part of our team and potentially for the long-term. We are expanding rapidly and there might be other opportunities for advancement in the future.
Position:
The ideal candidate is seeking a permanent position that would like to stay with the clinic for the
LONG TERM
. We want to minimize turnover as much as possible. This current job opening is for a
PART-TIME
position, but can turn into a
FULL-TIME

Office duties include: Opening and/or closing the office Warmly welcome and check in the patients Answering multi-line phones, answering questions and taking messages in a polite, helpful manner Accurately scheduling patients on the computer (typing speed 35+ wpm) Collecting and accounting for cash transactions, checks, and processing credit card payments Cleaning all surfaces throughout the shift Organizing of the front desk and treatment rooms Talking to patients, making them feel comfortable, answering questions about their care Putting patients into their treatment rooms Preparing/cleaning treatment rooms between patients Folding and dispersing linens Ordering/pricing/stocking supplies Assisting the professional staff with setup, cleanup, and daily workflow Ensuring a smoothly run clinic Creating an excellent customer experience Maintain a calm, focused presence throughout the shift Being an all-around team-player Requirements These qualities are essential for success in this role: Professional communication at all times Comfortable with routine, structure, and following procedures Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things correctly Ability to multitask calmly while staying organized and focused Typing speed of 35 WPM or higher Physically able to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Reliable transportation and a strong record of punctuality Availability on weekdays from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM Saturday availability is required (this is the clinic's busiest day) Sunday availability is a plus Willingness to complete a background check and/or drug screening to ensure patient safety
Uniform/Dress Code:
Scrubs in black, white, gray, or blue. Business-casual in clinic colors is also acceptable. Footwear should be clean, professional, and comfortable.
