Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive acupuncture treatments aimed at pain relief, injury recovery, and overall wellness. This role involves patient assessment, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering safe, effective acupuncture therapies in a professional clinical setting. The Acupuncturist will play a vital role in enhancing patient health outcomes through expert care and specialized techniques. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history review Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physiology knowledge Administer acupuncture treatments utilizing sterile techniques and proper aseptic procedures Manage acute pain conditions and assist in pain management strategies using trigger point therapy and other modalities Educate patients on treatment processes, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and medical records Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment adhering to all health regulations and protocols Stay current with advancements in acupuncture techniques, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to patient care Experience Valid CPR Certification and BLS Certification are required Proven experience in patient service and patient care within an acupuncture or holistic health setting preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice Experience with acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques highly desirable Familiarity with aseptic technique to ensure safety during procedures Prior experience performing physical examinations and patient assessments is advantageous This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to patients' health journeys through expert acupuncture care.
