Midtown Clinic on Shipyard Blvd | Bodies in Balance Physical Therapy Bodies in Balance Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate, personable, and patient-first Personal Trainer to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis . This is a unique opportunity to support individuals 50 years and older as they continue their wellness journey after being discharged from physical or occupational therapy. About the
Role:
As a Personal Trainer in our clinic, you'll work closely with clients who range from active adults enjoying recreational sports to those in their 80s and 90s who aim to maintain independence and mobility at home.
Your role will focus on:
Graded strength and conditioning Balance and mobility enhancement Functional stretching and wellness coaching
Who We're Looking For:
A trainer who is passionate about working with older adults and understands the unique challenges and goals of this population. Experience or certification in strength & conditioning, especially within the geriatric or rehabilitation-focused arena , is highly valued. Someone who is personable, patient, and adaptable , with a strong desire to grow their knowledge of various rehab diagnoses. A team player who wants to work in a collaborative, supportive environment and believes in putting the client's wellbeing first .
Job Details:
Flexible part-time schedule with the opportunity to grow client hours. (this is a Contract 1099 position) Initial client base of ~12-15 individuals with active promotion to increase clients once onboard. Per session compensation for 30- and 60-minute training sessions. Services will be provided at our Midtown Clinic on Shipyard Blvd . Why Bodies in Balance?
