DISORDER THERAPIST

The Healing Palace is seeking a licensed therapist specializing in Eating Disorders to join our trauma-informed clinical team. We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about providing culturally responsive, compassionate, and accessible mental health care to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, particularly those in underserved communities.

Position Requirements:

Licensed to practice in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and/or Virginia (Bonus if you are licensed in other states). Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience Demonstrated experience working with Eating Disorders and related concerns At least 3 years of experience serving culturally diverse populations and/or underserved communities Must be fully licensed (LICSW, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) Strong understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive care Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other providers Strong clinical documentation and communication skills Commitment to providing ethical, client-centered care Must be willing to commit at least one (1) year for quality of care.

Preferred Experience:

Eating disorder assessment and treatment Body image concerns and disordered eating Trauma and complex trauma Anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation Experience working with adolescents, adults, and/or families
