  • 20/hour + Tips & Additional Earning Opportunities Full-Time | Weekday & Weekend Availability Required About the Position Lice Clinics of America is looking for a friendly, dependable, and compassionate Lice Treatment Technician to join our Falls Church team!
Don't have experience treating head lice? That's okay — we provide comprehensive, paid training. Our technicians work one-on-one with individuals and families to provide professional lice screenings and treatments while helping make what can be a stressful or embarrassing experience feel comfortable, judgment-free, and manageable. This is a hands-on position that's a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in helping others. What You'll Do Perform professional head screenings for lice and nits Provide lice treatments using our FDA-cleared AirAllé heated-air device and professional treatment methods Perform thorough comb-outs and apply follow-up treatment products Educate clients and families about lice, aftercare, prevention, and our treatment process Create a welcoming, reassuring, and judgment-free experience for every client Work with clients of all ages, including children and families Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and follow clinic procedures Accurately document client visits and treatment information Work collaboratively with clinic management and fellow technicians What We're Looking For No previous lice-treatment experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know! Experience in any of the following areas is a plus, but not required: Cosmetology, hairstyling, or salon services CNA, healthcare, or caregiving Childcare or education Customer service Other hands-on, client-facing positions More importantly, we're looking for someone who is: Friendly, compassionate, and nonjudgmental Comfortable working closely with children and adults Detail-oriented and able to follow established treatment procedures Reliable and punctual Comfortable communicating with clients who may be nervous, frustrated, or embarrassed Able to work independently while also being part of a team Willing to learn and receptive to feedback Able to stand for extended periods during appointments Schedule & Availability This is a full-time position and requires both weekday and weekend availability . Technicians who work weekends receive scheduled days off during the week. Our primary opening is for our Falls Church clinic , although flexibility to occasionally assist at our other Northern Virginia locations is a plus. Reliable transportation is required. Paid Training We provide approximately four weeks of paid, hands-on training , typically Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM .
Training includes:
Head screening and lice identification Professional comb-out techniques AirAllé heated-air treatment Treatment product application Client education and aftercare Documentation and clinic procedures Hands-on practice with guidance from experienced team members You'll progress through training based on competency so that you feel confident performing the complete client experience before working independently.
