Summary:
To maintain and make available supplies and equipment for the day-to-day function of the anesthesia staff.
Responsibilities:
Stocking and cleaning anesthesia carts. Check and refill supplies on a daily basis. Check expiration dates on medications. Check OB suite carts in the evening when necessary. Stock supplies in the anesthesia workroom, X-Ray. OB, GI and MRI to ensure supplies are always available. Transfer supplies from fourth floor storeroom on an as needed basis. Check and maintain various anesthesia equipment. Take dirty equipment to CSS as needed. Log any needed repairs. Coordination of workload during the absence of another anesthesia clerk. Take on an extra workload as and when needed to maintain smooth operation of the department. Maintain daily log on stock problems, equipment etc. in the communication book for the following shift. Coordinates phone calls and messages according to nature of emergency. Performs other duties as assigned. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
Required:
High School Graduate- Must speak and write fluent English.
Minimum Experience:
zero to six months
Salary Range:
$21.49 - $41.73 Hourly
