Responsibilities The CVOR Anesthesia Technician assists the cardiac anesthesiologist with administration and monitoring of anesthesia and has an extensive knowledge of cardiac anesthesia techniques, instruments, supplies and technology. Supports anesthesiologists and mid-levels with invasive and non-invasive monitoring, advanced line preparation and placement. Provides equipment testing, calibration, trouble shooting, cleaning and disinfecting. Assists all members of the cardiac surgery team throughout the operative continuum. Qualifications
REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS). One (1) year of experience as a CVOR Anesthesia Technician. Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
PREFERRED
Certified Anesthesia Technologist (ASATT) Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
