Job Description

Group Therapist for Eating Disorder Program San Francisco, CA 94102 $140
  • $170 an hour
  • Part-time, Contract $140
  • $170 an hour
  • Part-time, Contract This position is ideally in-person in San Francisco.
The group is 2.5 hours long with a break and the pay is excellent! We also have some opportunities to see individual therapy in conjunction with this group. Since 2007, Woodleaf has been providing compassionate care to the community. Our individualized care and gentle nutrition approach has always set us apart. Our program is small and our clients are medically stable and highly motivated. We are seeking a therapist to facilitate our Thursday evening eating disorder support group for which we offer a complete curriculum. We are open to another evening as well if needed so let us know what works for you. We look forward to meeting you!
Job requirements and qualifications:
Seeking highly professional, compassionate clinician who has the ability to form a strong therapeutic alliance with clients. Enjoys working independently and is a self starter Available Thursday evenings in San Francisco (possibility of another evening) Experience and interest in facilitating groups Maintains and holds excellent clinical boundaries
  • Candidates need to be reliable and resonant with our philosophy of compassion and harm reduction.
Knowledge and direct experience in eating disorders preferred (passion about the topic with great clinical skills goes along way too!).
