An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate Board-Certified Art Therapist (AT-BC) to join us as we continue to grow and develop our art therapy program. As part of our team, you would have the opportunity to: Provide individualized and group art therapy services to a variety of clients in an office setting. Collaborate closely with a supportive, interdisciplinary team. Play an integral role in shaping and expanding our art therapy program as we continue to grow. Receive support for professional development, including continuing education, conference participation, and tools/equipment stipends.
