Veterans Preference Inpatient Therapist Opportunity Our Inpatient Therapists are responsible for conducting therapeutic groups for patients and documentation of these sessions in a timely manner. They are also responsible for interviewing and developing the psychological histories, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family, developing appropriate treatment objectives and weekly treatment summaries, act as the patients' and families' primary contact during the patient's stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team, working as a liaisons with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family. The inpatient therapist will serve adolescent and adult patient populations. Qualifications Requirements:
Education:
Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology required.
Experience:
One (1) year experience in a psychiatric health care facility, preferred, with direct experience in family and group therapies and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Adolescent drug addiction experience highly desired.
Additional Requirements:
Licensure in the state of Florida is preferred but not required Employer conducts drug screen, background, and reference checks
