An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.
Palm Beach Recovery Center is seeking a full-time Primary Clinical Therapist. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented therapist to provide clinical services to individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. The Primary Therapist provides comprehensive, client-centered clinical services to individuals and their families within a dual-diagnosis treatment setting. The therapist maintains a designated caseload and is responsible for timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation of all services provided, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. conducting clinical intakes and assessments; individual, family, and group therapy; crisis intervention; developing, implementing, and updating individualized treatment plans; coordinating discharge and aftercare planning; and collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. The Therapist maintains a designated caseload and provides comprehensive clinical services, including conducting clinical intakes and assessments; delivering individual, family, and group therapy; providing crisis intervention; developing, implementing, and updating individualized treatment plans; coordinating discharge and aftercare planning; and collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team. The Therapist is responsible for timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation of all services provided, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. All clinical services and documentation are delivered in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and ethical guidelines, including those established by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and The Joint Commission. Essential Duties will include Conduct clinical intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, and risk/safety evaluations to determine client needs and appropriate level of care Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans with measurable, clinically appropriate goals and objectives Maintain an active caseload, providing weekly individual therapy and group and family therapy as clinically indicated Facilitate psychoeducational and process-oriented group therapy sessions Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation , including intakes, biopsychosocials, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and aftercare plans Collaborate with medical, nurses, and interdisciplinary clinical staff to ensure coordinated, integrated care Support discharge planning and continuity of care , including referrals and aftercare coordination Adhere to all ethical, regulatory, confidentiality, and Department of Children and Families (DCF) standards
Qualifications Required:
