Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Therapist/Art Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and wellness team. In this role, you will utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques—including art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, and recreational therapy—to support individuals across diverse age groups and backgrounds. Your expertise will help clients improve their emotional well-being, develop coping skills, and achieve personal growth. Duties Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy, mental health counseling, and other evidenced-based therapy techniques. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with each client's needs. Incorporate creative modalities like art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, and recreational activities to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care plans and monitor progress through detailed documentation. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Art Therapy, or a related field; licensure or certification as required by state law. Proven experience working with children, individuals with disabilities—including autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and mental health counseling techniques. Familiarity with medical documentation standards. Ability to conduct group therapy sessions effectively while fostering a supportive environment. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage clients of diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security. Pay:
$50.00 - $70.00 per hour
