- Coordinating recreation therapy activities for individuals and groups
- Observing and recording individuals' participation, progress, and responses and making recommendations to treatment plans as needed
- Maintaining and documenting individual's records Minimum QualificationsCandidates from outside or within State service may be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they have: Bachelor's degree with a concentration or major in Art Therapy; OR Bachelor's degree in Creative Arts Therapy with a concentration in art; OR Bachelor's degree in Art, Art Education, or Fine Arts AND one year of experience in planning and administering an art therapy program; OR Registration with the American Art Therapy Association as an Art Therapist.
