An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Qualifications:

Experienced and comfortable working with couples. EFT background preferred. Enjoys working with young adults and teenagers. Interested in health/nutrition and using well-rounded treatment plan with clients. Experience working with trauma. (ART-accelerated resolution therapy training very desireable) Attachment-focused in their therapeutic approach. Must be a fully licensed clinician. LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, etc. We have many clients who are searching for a therapist who is faith supportive and a member of their faith. We have a large clientele that is LDS so applicants need to be knowledgable and respectful of this community. We are a Christian based counseling practice. Faith practicing applicants that are highly encouraged to apply. Competitive pay and experience in working with a broad clientele!
