An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Responsibilities Provide individual counseling or psychotherapy to adults and seniors Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Diagnose using DSM-5 criteria Offer appropriate resources and referrals as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Manage a personal caseload effectively and independently Qualifications Master's degree and active licensure:
LCSW, LPC, LCPC, CMHC, LMFT
, or equivalent Proficiency with DSM-5 and treatment planning Strong documentation and computer skills (Microsoft Word, EHR systems) Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases Experience with geriatric populations preferred, but not required Reliable transportation for travel between local facilities Lindon, Orem, Provo, Payson Ideal Candidate Adapts easily to changing facility conditions resident health fluctuations, and interdisciplinary needs.
