Job Description

Position Summary Justice University is private Christian University located in Chandler, Arizona. The Part-Time Athletic Trainer supports the mission of Justice University by providing preventative care, injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to student-athletes. This position works closely with coaches, athletes, and other staff to promote safety, health, and spiritual growth in the context of athletic competition. Key Responsibilities Provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for student-athletes across all sports. Maintain accurate records of treatments, injuries, and progress notes in compliance with institutional and NCCAA guidelines. Two days a week in the office to treat athletes and home competitions for assigned sports (hours may vary per week, including some evenings/weekends). Collaborate with team, coaching staff, and university administrators on injury management and return-to-play decisions. Oversee the inventory and maintenance of athletic training supplies and equipment. Foster an environment that supports the physical, mental, and spiritual development of student-athletes. Ensure compliance with university policies, professional ethics, and applicable athletic association regulations. Participate in regular staff meetings and support the larger mission of the Athletics Department and university.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field Certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of [State] Current CPR/AED certification Availability to work evenings and weekends Strong communication and organizational skills A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of a Christ-centered higher education environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or related field Prior experience working with collegiate-level student-athletes Understanding of small-college athletics and its role in student formation
Job Type & Compensation:
