Secondary Schools (Middle & High School) About the Opportunity Looking for a way to stay engaged in student-athlete care without the rigid commitment of a traditional full-time role? ATvantage is seeking a Part-Time Core Coverage Team BOC Certified Athletic Trainer in Irvine, CA to provide vital coverage for the remainder of the school year. This is your opportunity to step into the secondary school setting on your terms. Whether you are looking to fill gaps in your current schedule, pick up extra hours, or maintain your clinical skills in a highly supportive environment, we give you the flexibility to practice healthcare your way. What You'll Do As a substitute AT, you will step in to provide seamless continuity of care for our partner schools.
Your responsibilities will include:
On-Site Care:
Provide injury prevention, evaluation, triage, and athletic training support for middle and high school athletic programs.
First Response:
Serve as the primary medical authority and first responder during scheduled practices and competitions.
Collaborate:
Partner with coaches, school staff, and families to ensure athletes receive high-quality, compassionate care.
Campus Support:
Assist with campus wellness initiatives, such as monitoring the school's weight room or helping with student safety protocols during your shifts.
Documentation:
Clear, professional, and timely tracking of injuries, treatments, and referrals.

Who You Are Certified:
Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with current CPR/AED certification.
Qualified:
Eligible to practice as an AT in the state of California, Mandated Reporter Training.

Confident, professional, and fully capable of managing a sideline or training room independently.
