The position entails a clinical component of physician support, an outreach component of on-site athletic training services, and an administrative component of assisting with projects and events. Clinically, the employee will spend time in a specialty clinic assisting with the day-to-day operations. The AT will be asked to room patients, assist in the patient intake process, and pull up any necessary records relevant to the patient visit. The AT will also provide physician support by assisting with patient education and post-operative procedures as requested. Other responsibilities include assisting with the daily administration of clinic duties, and other tasks as assigned. Outreach for the AT consists of providing on-site care for high school athletes.
