Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team and make a meaningful impact on athlete health and performance. In this role, you will provide expert injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to athletes across various sports programs. Your energy, enthusiasm, and expertise will help promote optimal physical health, enhance athletic performance, and support overall well-being. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive injury assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for athletes Implement injury prevention strategies through education on proper body mechanics, nutrition, and conditioning techniques Provide immediate care for sports-related injuries, including first aid and emergency response when necessary Design and oversee rehabilitation programs to facilitate safe return-to-play timelines Collaborate with coaches, medical professionals, and athletes to optimize training routines and recovery processes Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, progress notes, and injury reports Educate athletes on health coaching topics such as physiology, anatomy, sports medicine principles, and body mechanics Potential candidates can teach an Introduction to Sports Medicine/Athletic Training class for .2 extra pay (CTE credential required) Job description is on Edjoin Requirements Certification as an Athletic Trainer from an accredited organization (e.g., NATA Board of Certification) Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and sports medicine practices Experience in health coaching with the ability to motivate athletes toward healthy habits Familiarity with personal training techniques and nutrition principles for athletic performance enhancement Excellent understanding of body mechanics to prevent injuries and improve movement efficiency Ability to communicate complex medical concepts clearly to athletes of all ages and skill levels Prior experience working with athletes or in sports medicine environments is preferred Join us in fostering a culture of health, resilience, and peak performance!
