This position is primarily clinic-based, providing individualized 60-minute appointments focused on injury evaluation, rehabilitation, recovery, movement assessment, and injury prevention. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with clients and creating personalized treatment plans. Experience or interest youth athletics is highly desirable. While the majority of the position is within our clinic, opportunities may include occasional coverage and support of local high school athletes and community outreach programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive injury evaluations and movement assessments Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs Provide therapeutic exercise instruction and progression Utilize evidence-based injury prevention strategies Perform manual therapy techniques within the Athletic Trainer's scope of practice Educate athletes, parents, and clients on injury management and recovery Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Communicate effectively with physicians, coaches, parents, and other healthcare professionals Assist with return-to-play and return-to-performance planning Support dance medicine, performing arts medicine, and sports medicine programs Participate in community outreach, workshops, and educational events Assist with occasional athletic training coverage for local high school athletic programs Contribute to a positive team culture and collaborative work environment Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Program Current BOC (Board of Certification) certification Current Massachusetts Athletic Trainer Licensure or ability to obtain licensure prior to employment Current CPR/AED certification Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Passion for helping athletes and performers achieve their goals Preferred Qualifications Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine Manual therapy experience Strength and conditioning background Interest in community engagement and athlete education Physical Requirements Ability to demonstrate therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques Ability to stand, walk, lift equipment, and assist clients during treatment sessions Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations Schedule Flexible scheduling available.
