Muscle & Joint Clinic is hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training coverage at a prominent Kansas City university. This position would be a full time position. 10 months would be provided athletic training services alongside the university's sports medicine team. Full-Time opportunity with varying opportunities for additional compensation. Schedule and expectations may vary seasonally.
Description:
Provide athletic training services to university athletes. Provide athletic training services in the athletic training room M-F and at scheduled games. Act as a liaison between medical providers, coaches, and athletes. Maintain accurate medical records This position requires the ability to travel with the school as deemed necessary by the lead athletic trainer.
Qualifications:
Effective interpersonal skills to communicate both in person and in writing. Ability to positively interact and build relationships with management, doctors, professional staff, patients, and athletes. Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree from an accredited program Current Certified Athletic Trainer license in Kansas and Missouri ATC credential through
NATA/BOC BLS

Muscle & Joint Clinic is a rapidly growing physical rehab clinic, employing physical therapists, chiropractors, occupational therapists and athletic trainers with 11 locations around the Kansas City Metro. We believe in quality one on one care, setting us apart from other practices. We utilize a functional treatment model with an emphasis on the following techniques in clinic: ART, DNS, Graston/FAKTR, Dry Needling, McKenzie Method, & Blood Flow Restriction Training.
