- Athletic Training Job Description Kansas City Athletics is seeking applications for the role of an experienced Certified Athletic Trainer. UMKC is a NCAA Division I University that competes in the Summit League. The primary sport responsibility will be an Olympic Sport (which may include one of the following
- women's soccer, softball and cross/track and field), including team travel and weekend coverage.
Basic Functions & Responsibilities:
Under administrative direction, responsible for assisting in the operation of the athletic training facilities, as well as the direct medical care of all student-athletes, with a focus on an Olympic Sport (which may include one of the following- women's soccer, softball and cross/track and field), including aiding medical personnel with the prevention and treatment of athletically related injuries incurred by student-athletes.
Essential Functions:
Assist with operation of sports medicine facilities. Provide daily treatment and rehabilitation of student-athletes, with a focus on an Olympic Sport (which may include one of the following- women's soccer, softball and cross/track and field).
