Licensed Athletic Trainer Physiosharks Englewood Cliffs, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Teamwork Working with athletes Certified Athletic Trainer Orthopedics Sports rehabilitation therapy Cross-functional communication AED Certification Full Job Description Position Overview The Athletic Trainer will support rehabilitation, injury prevention, performance training, and recovery services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role bridges sports performance and clinical care , ideal for an ATC who enjoys hands-on work and growth opportunities. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Performance Support Assist Physical Therapists with therapeutic exercise programs Supervise warm-ups, corrective exercises, and performance drills Lead mobility, flexibility, and neuromuscular control exercises Monitor patient technique and progression during rehab sessions Support return-to-sport and injury prevention programs Recovery & Modalities Apply and supervise recovery services including: Compression therapy (NormaTec) Percussion therapy Stretching and mobility sessions Red light / laser therapy (training provided) Assist with taping, bracing, and support techniques Athlete & Patient Care Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and home programs Maintain a high-energy, professional, and motivating environment Assist with patient flow to ensure efficiency and excellent experience Documentation & Operations Document exercise performance and progress per clinic protocols Maintain cleanliness and organization of performance and recovery areas Assist with equipment setup and breakdown Collaborate with PTs, aides, and front desk staff Qualifications Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - BOC Certified Valid state licensure (NJ preferred) CPR/AED certification Strong understanding of: Orthopedic injuries Sports rehab principles Strength & conditioning basics Excellent communication and teamwork skills
