Position Overview CIVICA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Athletic Trainer to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions for student-athletes. The ideal candidate is passionate about student health and wellness and is capable of working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat athletic injuries in coordination with physicians and coaches. Provide injury prevention and wellness education to student-athletes. Monitor and document athlete recovery programs and progress. Maintain compliance with all school, district, and state athletic health and safety policies. Coordinate with coaching staff regarding athlete readiness and return-to-play decisions. Maintain accurate records of all treatments and injuries. Ensure that all emergency equipment and supplies are maintained and readily available. Attend games, practices, and school events as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related field (Master's preferred). Certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers. Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the state. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification . Experience working with adolescent athletes preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Schedule 15-25 hours per week (seasonal flexibility required) Availability during after-school hours and game times (typically between 3:30 PM and could go up to 10:30 PM)
