AED Certification Full Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at Bethany Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing preventative, rehabilitative, and emergency medical care to athletes in our organization. The Athletic Trainer will work closely with coaches, physicians, and other medical professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of our athletes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-participation physical exams for all athletes Develop and implement injury prevention programs Evaluate and treat athletic injuries Develop and implement rehabilitation plans for injured athletes Educate athletes and coaches on injury prevention and management Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Coordinate with physicians and other medical professionals as needed Attend all practices, games, and other athletic events as required Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Assist coaching staff with student managers, if applicable, in regard to hydration management for practices and games
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field Current certification from the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) Current state licensure Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Valid driver's license and reliable transportation CPR, AED and First Aid Certifications
