Job Description

Athletic Trainer Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center Help Keep Our Community's Student-Athletes Safe, Healthy, and in the Game. Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to support a local school district while remaining an integral member of our rehabilitation team. This unique position offers the opportunity to work directly with student-athletes, coaches, physicians, and healthcare professionals to provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services. When not providing athletic training coverage for the school district, this individual will have the opportunity to assist within our Rehabilitation Department, creating a diverse and rewarding work environment. What You'll Do Provide athletic training services to student-athletes during practices, games, and school-related activities Evaluate injuries and determine appropriate treatment plans within scope of practice Deliver first aid and emergency care when needed Develop rehabilitation and conditioning programs for injured athletes Assist with injury prevention initiatives, stretching programs, taping, bracing, and equipment fitting Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, coaches, physicians, and healthcare staff Maintain accurate injury and treatment documentation Coordinate referrals and follow-up care as needed Support rehabilitation services within the hospital setting when athletic coverage is not required Promote wellness, injury prevention, and safe participation in sports Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field Current Board of Certification (BOC) certification Current Athletic Trainer licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Current CPR/BLS certification Preferred Master's Degree Previous athletic training or sports medicine experience Why Join Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center?
