This is a full-time, mostly remote role for someone who is both clinically minded and comfortable with sales, lead follow-up, patient education, and consult conversion. The role will require in-person coverage on clinic days, starting in Long Beach and eventually expanding to other parts of Los Angeles and Orange County as the practice grows. Candidates should be local to Southern California and able to reliably travel to clinic locations as needed. This is not a traditional sideline athletic training job. It is a hybrid role that combines athletic training, sports medicine, patient education, sales, and practice growth. You'll be expected to work with leads that come into the practice, help educate and qualify prospective patients, support consult conversion, and then participate in clinic days where patients are evaluated, treated, and supported through recovery programs. This role is ideal for a new graduate or early-career ATC who is interested in sports medicine, orthopedics, regenerative medicine, exercise programming, patient relationships, and helping build a growing cash-pay clinical practice. What you'll do: Follow up with inbound leads and prospective patients Help generate, nurture, and close leads through outreach, follow-up, and patient education Speak with prospective patients about PeakMD's services, programs, and treatment options Qualify prospective patients and help determine whether they are a good fit for consultation Support consult conversion and package enrollment Maintain consistent follow-up with leads who are interested but not ready to schedule immediately Build relationships with patients before, during, and after treatment Attend in-person clinic days, starting in Long Beach Travel to future clinic locations in Los Angeles and Orange County as the practice expands Perform movement evaluations and baseline outcome tracking during clinic days Assist with post-procedure recovery support for patients receiving PRP and other regenerative medicine treatments Provide corrective exercise, mobility work, neuromuscular re-education, and hands-on athletic training support when patients are seen in clinic Help build and progress individualized 12-week recovery and movement programs Track patient progress and contribute to a high-touch patient experience Who we're looking for: BOC-certified Athletic Trainer, or BOC-eligible by start date Eligible for California Athletic Trainer registration New graduates and early-career ATCs are strongly encouraged to apply Background or interest in personal training, strength and conditioning, corrective exercise, sports medicine, orthopedics, or PT is a plus Comfortable speaking with prospective patients and helping guide them through a decision-making process Interested in sales, lead follow-up, patient education, and practice growth — not just clinical care Strong communicator who enjoys building relationships and following up consistently Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely Able to attend in-person clinic days in Long Beach and future LA/OC locations as needed Why this role may be a great fit: Mostly remote schedule with scheduled in-person clinic days Direct mentorship from the medical director Structured onboarding and training Opportunity to help build clinical programs, patient protocols, and lead-conversion systems from the ground up Continuing education support Growth path as the practice expands Meaningful earning upside tied to patient growth and package conversion A unique role that combines athletic training, sports medicine, patient education, sales, and business development
