Sentara Medical Group is hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer - Flexi in Harrisonburg, VA! ✨ New Graduates Welcome to Apply! ✨ Position Highlights Servicing Harrisonburg and surrounding counties Will cover events as needed arise This is a great opportunity for a Certified Athletic Trainer who enjoys working in a team environment, building relationships with student-athletes and coaches, and making an impact in the community. Job Description As a Certified Athletic Trainer you will evaluate, advise, treat, and educate athletes who experience athletic related injuries or illnesses to maintain peak physical fitness. Travel with team and be available at sports events and during practices to offer prevention- maintenance and assistance. Education Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training required Certification/Licensure Board of Certification (BOC) certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) required Virginia Athletic Trainer License required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
