7 Nashville, TN Job Details Full-time 18 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Computer literacy Patient education Full Job Description Description Join our outstanding sports medicine team as a Clinical Assistant and work alongside experienced Doctors, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting both our providers and patients. You'll use your clinical knowledge and skills to prepare patients and their electronic medical records for appointments, communicate patient injuries and conditions to providers, and help facilitate physician orders.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing patients and electronic medical records for provider visits Communicating patient injuries, conditions, and concerns to providers Assisting with suture removal, injection preparation, and brace fitting Supporting physicians and advanced practice providers during clinic Scheduling surgeries and follow-up appointments Providing patient education in person and over the phone Documenting office visits and patient communications Helping ensure a positive, efficient, and compassionate patient experience
What You Can Expect:

Qualifications Education and Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education preferred Licensure or Certification in one of the following types:
Athletic Trainer:
BOC certification AND State of Tennessee AT license
Registered Nurse:
State of Tennessee RN license
Licensed Practice Nurse:
State of Tennessee LPN license
Medical Assistant:
