Please click here to learn more about our locations. Job Description The ATC-Clinical will work in the outpatient clinic under the direction and supervision of a designated physician (or physicians). The ATC-Clinical will provide and facilitate optimal care as an essential team member of the sports medicine team. Position will work closely with respective physician(s) and communicate effectively with all team members of the sports medicine team in order to facilitate optimal outcomes for patients. Work closely with SC leadership to expand sports health and medicine in Shriners. We are looking for a full time ATC-Clinical to join our amazing team to support our Vancouver Clinic!
Key Responsibilities:
Working in SC clinic on a daily basis providing detailed rooming tasks. Provide clinical services for Sports Medicine physician. Offer Athletic training services in a provider clinical setting to patients, such as initial evaluation and working as clinical extender for both sports medicine and fracture clinics. This may be non-operative or operative. Assist attending provider and medical staff in clinic to maintain scheduling and chart review. Provide fitting of sports medicine braces recommended by physician and/or POS provided by the hospital. May work as an Athletic Trainer Certified-Community, providing sports medicine coverage to community partners on an as needed basis.
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Athletic Training, Bachelor's or Master's Current Board of Certification ( BOC) or applicable state credential AT Licensure as required by the state where practice occurs 3-5 years in athletic training experience Current First Aid CPR/AED Certification (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in clinical placement Advanced degree in athletic training Additional relevant certification preferred (CSCS, CNS, LMT, etc.) BLS instructor certified The pay range for this position is $26.58 - $39.86. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
