We're seeking a passionate, clinically driven individual to join our South District team as a Medical Education Specialist (Athletic Trainer) supporting the Wheeling market. Whether your background is in athletic training, sports medicine, orthopedics, or another clinical setting, you'll receive the education, mentorship, and support needed to build a rewarding career in orthopedic medical devices. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to become the clinical expert supporting orthopedic surgeons throughout the Wheeling region. As a Medical Education Specialist, you'll work alongside our sales team to provide technical support during surgical procedures, educate surgeons and operating room staff on Arthrex products and techniques, and serve as a trusted clinical resource throughout the territory. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, solving clinical challenges, and building meaningful relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals while making a direct impact on patient care. What You'll Do Provide clinical and technical support during orthopedic surgical procedures. Educate surgeons, physician offices, operating room staff, and healthcare professionals on Arthrex products and surgical techniques. Assist with surgeon training programs, cadaver labs, and educational events. Become a clinical expert across the Arthrex product portfolio. Support new product launches and clinical education initiatives. Collaborate closely with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer support. Coordinate case coverage and inventory management as needed. Continuously expand your clinical knowledge through ongoing education and training. Preferred qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree required Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) strongly preferred Clinical experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, or surgical settings preferred Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities Comfortable working in fast-paced operating room environments Team-oriented with a positive, service-focused attitude Why Arthrex Pittsburgh?
