Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist, where you will play a vital role in improving patients' quality of life through expert hearing assessments and personalized hearing solutions. This position combines clinical evaluation, patient care, and sales expertise to deliver comprehensive hearing health services. You will utilize your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to diagnose hearing issues, fit hearing aids, and provide exceptional customer service. Your energetic approach will help foster trust and confidence in every patient interaction, ensuring they receive the best possible care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations of patients' hearing and balance functions using advanced audiological equipment. Perform detailed assessments including otolaryngology (ear, nose, throat) examinations to identify underlying conditions affecting hearing. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, incorporating audiometric testing and physiology knowledge. Fit, program, and adjust hearing instruments to optimize performance and comfort for each patient. Educate patients on their hearing health, device usage, maintenance, and available assistive listening technologies. Maintain accurate patient records using Microsoft Office tools like Word and Excel; document findings clearly and comprehensively. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns, offering solutions, and guiding them through their hearing health journey. Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as otolaryngologists to coordinate care when necessary. Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff or interns and contributing to a positive team environment. Requirements Proven experience in audiology practice with a focus on pediatrics is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient appointments efficiently while maintaining accuracy. In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques related to hearing health. Familiarity with otolaryngology procedures and aseptic techniques for clinical safety. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with general computer skills for record keeping and reporting. Excellent communication skills to effectively explain complex concepts to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Customer service orientation combined with sales skills to recommend appropriate hearing devices confidently. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
