Audiologist Educational Audiologist

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract An opening is available for a full-time Audiologist to provide specialized hearing services in an itinerant role within schools located in Murrieta, CA. This contract position offers consistent, 37.5-hour work weeks with 8-hour days including a 30-minute lunch break, starting as soon as possible through the end of the current school year (second week of June).

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and assessments for students Identify and diagnose hearing impairments to support students' educational needs Develop and implement individualized hearing treatment and management plans Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure proper accommodation and services Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state regulations Provide counseling and education to students and families regarding hearing health Participate in team meetings and professional development as required

Qualifications:

Valid Audiologist licensure in the state of California Experience working with school-aged children in an educational or clinical setting Proficient in diagnostic audiological testing and hearing aid management Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with school personnel and families Ability to function independently in an itinerant role, traveling between multiple school sites Commitment to student advocacy and individualized care
