PRN (As Needed) About Us The Performance Lab (TPL) is a multi-disciplinary medical practice dedicated to the rehabilitation of patients recovering from musculoskeletal (MSK) and brain injuries. With a team of experienced Medical Directors specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Interventional Pain, Neurology, and Traumatic Brain Injury. TPL offers comprehensive, hospital-level care in a convenient outpatient setting, by integrating a wide range of services under one roof. The Performance Lab ensures personalized, continuous support throughout each patient's recovery journey. Position Overview The PRN Audiologist evaluates, diagnoses, and manages hearing, balance, auditory processing, and vestibular disorders. This role supports TPL's multidisciplinary rehabilitation model by assisting patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries, concussions, neurological conditions, and other disorders affecting hearing and balance.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological and vestibular assessments. Perform auditory processing testing and balance screenings. Interpret diagnostic results and communicate findings to patients and providers. Develop individualized treatment recommendations and rehabilitation plans. Provide counseling regarding hearing loss, tinnitus, vestibular disorders, and hearing conservation. Recommend and manage hearing assistive technologies when appropriate. Collaborate with physicians, neurologists, therapists, and rehabilitation specialists. Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress in the EMR. Maintain regulatory and documentation compliance.Required Qualifications:
Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited institution. Current Florida Audiology License. Current CPR/BLS Certification. Experience with vestibular testing, TBI, concussion management, and auditory rehabilitation preferred. Previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation or multidisciplinary practice preferred.
