Job Description
Our department is searching for a strong audiology resident to join our team! We are a unique clinic located in central Georgia (about an hour south of Atlanta) that serves a diverse community with a wide range of audiological services. Dividing time between collaborating with our physicians for ENT diagnostic testing and providing hearing services to our own audiology patients, every day is different at our clinic. Audiology residents are highly valued and compensated fairly for their contribution to our team! Our practice is nearly full scope (excluding APD testing) and includes birth to geriatric services. We currently outsource our Vestibular testing and only complete it on pediatrics as needed. We are the only major cochlear implant site south of Atlanta, so our patient caseload for implantable devices is always expanding. The audiologists at our practice are employed by an extremely kind group of physicians, who make our practice great! Our main office is located in Macon, Georgia, a city of 153,000 people. We have a satellite office located in Warner Robins, GA as well. There is always find something to do! Plenty of restaurants, art galleries, shopping, walking trails, exercise studios, and Southern Charm. Close enough to Atlanta, the Atlantic & Gulf Coasts, and the Appalachian mountains for weekend trips. Our warm southern climate allows you to enjoy active summers and cool, manageable winters (average temperature from December-February is a high of 60 degrees). If you are a current third year student looking to develop your professional skills in an advanced clinical setting, while taking advantage of financial opportunities such as salary, paid time off, and health insurance, we will look forward to hearing from you! 3rd year in a Doctor of Audiology University program
