Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Take on a rewarding short-term opportunity supporting students as an audiology professional in a dynamic school-based environment. This full-time, onsite contract assignment covers a 12-week maternity leave for the fall semester. You'll work directly with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students across the district, contributing to their educational success by performing specialized assessments, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and working closely with families.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and educationally relevant Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) evaluations Interpret and communicate results of evaluations to teachers, families, and school staff Collaborate with clinical audiologists, ENT providers, and educational teams for timely DHH eligibility determinations and assistive technology access Assist families with clinical recommendations and the follow-up process Serve as a consultant to educators and support personnel regarding the educational implications of hearing loss Participate in Early On Team activities, supporting the birth-to-age-3 DHH population, which includes occasional home visits
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctor of Audiology (Au.

D.) or Master's Degree in Audiology Valid Michigan Audiology License Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) 3-5 years of experience in pediatric or educational audiology strongly preferred This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise in an educational setting, make a direct difference for students, and work alongside dedicated professionals.
