Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist - CFE

Starkey is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our world-renowned Center for Excellence in Eden Prairie, MN. As a premier hearing health center serving patients from around the globe, this position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive testing and fitting of hearing aids, performing cerumen management procedures, training providers and students, and counseling patients on the use and care of hearing instruments, including phone connectivity and associated apps. Additionally, you will maintain the cleanliness and functionality of hearing aids through thorough clean and check processes. I0 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS

Examine hearing and fit hearing aids. Conduct cerumen management procedures, including ear suction and manual removal of earwax, in accordance with established protocols. Provide training sessions for providers/students on the proper cerumen management techniques. Clean and service hearing aids, ensuring they are functioning correctly and are free from debris. Counsel patients on use and care of their hearing instruments including phone connectivity and associated apps. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting cerumen management procedures and hearing aid maintenance. Assist in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Following Required:

Current Audiology License in Minnesota Current Hearing Instrument Dispenser in Minnesota Current Audiology License in Minnesota Current Hearing Instrument Dispenser in Minnesota Experience 3 years of experience in the hearing industry 3 years of experience in the hearing industry Knowledge / Technical Requirements Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation. Familiarity with hearing aid cleaning and maintenance tools and techniques. Competence in using medical equipment related to cerumen management and hearing aid cleaning. Competencies, Skills & Abilities Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate and interact with patients. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in audiology and nursing practices.

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $100,000 / year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
