Responsibilities Conduct detailed audiological assessments, including hearing tests, balance evaluations, and other diagnostic procedures. Interpret test results and develop individualized treatment plans. Fit and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices, providing patient education and counseling on device use and maintenance. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Stay current with advancements in audiology technology and best practices to continually enhance patient care. Participate in outreach or educational activities aimed at community awareness of hearing health. Required Skills Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.

D. or equivalent). Current valid state audiologist license or the ability to obtain licensing in the practice location. Proven experience conducting comprehensive audiological evaluations and hearing aid fittings. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to patients. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for documentation and care coordination. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of audiology equipment and software. Nice to Have Skills Experience with tinnitus management or vestibular assessments. Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations. Certification in diagnostic audiology or dispensing (e.g., ABR certification, Hearing Aid Dispenser license). Experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting. Preferred Education and Experience A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical audiology experience. Prior experience in a healthcare facility or private practice setting is advantageous. Familiarity with the latest audiological diagnostic tools and hearing aid technologies. Other Requirements Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday. No travel required for this role. Valid audiology license for the state of New Mexico or the ability to obtain licensure. Physical ability to perform assessments that may require standing, bending, or fine motor skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to safety standards.
