Educate patients and their families about hearing health, treatment options, and device maintenance to promote optimal outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as ENT specialists, speech therapists, and primary care providers to coordinate comprehensive care. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards. Stay current with emerging audiology techniques and technologies through ongoing professional development. Assist in clinical training and mentorship for new staff or students entering the audiology field. Experience Proven experience in audiology or related healthcare fields, preferably with exposure to critical care environments or acute care settings. Demonstrated proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to audiology, ENT procedures, and general healthcare practices. Prior experience working with diverse patient populations including those requiring complex or specialized care such as plastic surgery or diagnostic radiology contexts is advantageous. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations. Familiarity with manual handling techniques for patient safety during assessments and device fittings.
