Job Description

Position Overview:
Patient Support and Hearing Aid Services Assist walk-in patients with hearing aid troubleshooting, cleaning, checks, firmware updates, and battery replacement Prepare hearing aids for manufacturer repair and service Process incoming new and repaired devices for patient pickup or delivery Process extended warranty requests Clinical and Administrative Support Document all patient interactions and services accurately in the EMR system Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Respond to audiology-related phone inquiries in a timely manner Maintain inventory records of hearing aids and equipment Maintain database entries Operational Coordination Order and maintain adequate inventory of clinical and office supplies Ensure clinic areas are properly stocked Open and close testing rooms according to procedures Monitor VA portal updates and communicate with the audiologist Maintain daily communication with the audiologist regarding operations Provide general departmental support as assigned Technical Competencies Proficiency with EMR systems Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Professional Expectations Maintain professional appearance and conduct Demonstrate a patient-centered, service-oriented approach Exhibit flexibility and adaptability Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Take initiative and contribute positively to the work environment Previous Audiology experience preferred but not required On the job training will be provided

From $19.00 per hour
