Job Description

Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as an Audiologist for the 2026-2027 school year in the Bremerton, WA area! This contract opportunity allows you to offer specialized expertise in educational settings, ensuring students with hearing needs receive exceptional care and support. Leverage your skills and passion to empower students by working 3 to 4 days a week. As a valued professional, you will play a critical role in students' academic and social success by promoting accessibility and inclusion across the school community.
Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Audiologist Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification required Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Strong assessment, diagnostic, and reporting abilities Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing screenings and audiological assessments for students Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in developing effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Recommend, fit, and monitor hearing aids, assistive devices, and FM/DM systems as needed Provide ongoing consultation and training for staff, families, and students to maximize hearing access in educational settings Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations Participate in meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as necessary This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your expertise in a supportive school environment, fostering improved communication and achievement for all learners.
