Audiology Pediatric Externship

Aurora Health Care is seeking one applicant for a pediatric focused audiology externship in the Southeast Wisconsin area for the 2027-2028 term. This is a 12-month, 40 hour per week position beginning in June 2027. Aurora Health Care is a not-for-profit health system. Externs will gain clinical experience in a variety of audiological services at multiple sites.

This includes:

Diagnostic hearing evaluations for all ages - infants, children, and adults (approximately 80% pediatric, 20% adults) Hearing evaluations in conjunction with ENT clinic Electrophysiological testing, including sedated ABR in the OR Hearing aid services for infants, children and adolescents Cochlear implant and osseointegrated implant services for infants, children and adolescents Basic vestibular evaluations for all ages (VNG) Externs will work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary partners including ENT and neurotology physicians, physician assistants, and physical therapists. Applicants will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be friendly and engaging, and have a strong desire to learn and grow.
