Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) seeking a contract position supporting students in a school environment near Brewton, AL. This impactful role allows you to apply your specialized skills to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while working closely with a collaborative team of educators and professionals.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Valid RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies in a school, clinical, or pediatric setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families Ability to collect data, follow behavior intervention plans, and adapt to dynamic educational settings Dedication to maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, following individualized behavior intervention plans Collect accurate data on student behaviors and communicate findings to supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or special education staff Support teachers and classroom staff with implementing ABA interventions and strategies Participate in team meetings to review student progress and adjust plans as needed Foster skill development, independence, and positive social interactions in students As a contract RBT in a school setting, you will have the opportunity to experience a dynamic work environment and influence student success on a daily basis.
